First Date

The Pickup

Corryn: He looked so good in his white collared shirt and custom shoes. My family really liked his shoes. Sure sign that he would fit in.

Rob: That was was the craziest house I have ever seen; meeting the parents on a first date, also a unique experience. At least they liked my shoes.

The Library

Corryn: Rob drove us to the library we walked down some stairs and there was Emily Ojuka. At the library we picked out favorite stories and two of them were ginormous (literally). It was the most random cute fun date. I liked it when he read because he had funny voices and I felt stupid when I did because I didn’t. We read this really long book about a dog that turns into five different animals or something. I didn’t want to be rude but I didn’t know how to tell him to stop.

Rob: Dang she is a hottie. ;-) She picked out some good books too and she could read which, is a requirement. I don’t date illiterate girls as a rule. I really hoped she liked my dumb little voices. We read some good books including some of my childhood favorites. Then I had found a book that I had heard about but never read. So we started it. It turned out to be for-freakin-ever long. I could tell she was losing interest. I was too. I just wanted to throw the dumb thing. But I hate quitting on stuff so I just kept on until it got so tedious that I was losing my mind and about to start gnawing on my knuckles and jump up and down and run head first into a wall. So we stopped.

At The Crib

Corryn: We went back to his house and watched UP on a couch in the loft. I wanted to make the bottle cap badges that they had in the movie. Rob suggested we make them that night but it was already like one in the morning. Cutie.

Rob: Yay UP! She sat really far away from me like two whole book of Mormons lengthwise. But whatever, it seemed like she was having fun and she didn’t seem disinterested.

Post-Game

Corryn: Yep he’s a hottie. But he had a date with another girl the next day. :-(

Rob: She passed the literacy test and the super late night movie test, but she still sat really far away. Oh well seems like a keeper.
